The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has entered into a partnership with environmental volunteer group Buzstopboys, committing to register and train members to boost both road safety and environmental responsibility.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, DVLA will register all vehicles and motorcycles used by Buzstopboys in their operations free of charge. The Authority will also provide training for members of the group on the proper use of their equipment to enhance safety on the roads.
Buzstopboys is widely known for its volunteer-led community clean-ups and campaigns against indiscriminate littering. Since its inception, the group has focused on creating awareness about proper waste disposal and promoting environmentally friendly practices in urban spaces.
DVLA says the partnership is aimed at not only supporting the group’s operational needs but also contributing to a sustainable and clean environment that reflects the needs of citizens.
By aligning with Buzstopboys, DVLA is positioning road safety and environmental health as shared priorities, underscoring the role of civic partnerships in national development.
