Ghana’s Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has underscored Ghana’s role as a gateway to Africa’s investment opportunities during the Africa Singapore Business Forum (ASBF) held on Tuesday, August 27, 2025.
The Minister joined His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama and other distinguished global leaders at the high-profile event, which serves as a premier platform for fostering Africa–Asia business connections.
Speaking on the sidelines of the forum, Mr. Haruna Iddrisu described the gathering as a critical avenue for unlocking new opportunities for trade and investment between the two continents.
“Africa’s vast opportunities in energy, technology, and beyond have created a fertile ground for accelerated growth. Ghana takes pride in serving as a gateway to these opportunities,” he said.
He further highlighted President Mahama’s ‘Reset’ Agenda, which includes the 24-Hour Economy initiative and a streamlined GIPC Act, noting that these bold reforms will position Ghana as a prime investment destination.
“These initiatives herald a new era of growth, stability, and high returns for both local and foreign investors,” the Minister emphasized.
The Africa Singapore Business Forum has established itself as a key platform for deepening Africa–Asia cooperation, attracting leaders in business and government to explore new frontiers of partnership.
