The US Consul General in Ghana, Elliot Fertik, has paid a courtesy visit to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II in Kumasi.
The American diplomat used the occasion to wish the Asantehene well on his 25th anniversary and assured of his commitment to strengthening the ties between the US and Ghana and their people.
Mr Elliot Fertik adds to a tall list of American dignitaries who have been pouring on Manhyia to affirm their relations with the Asante King.
On May 11, the US Ambassador to Ghana, Madam Virginia Palmer, attended the dinner held in Kumasi as part of the anniversary activities.
