The Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations and Sightsavers have appealed to government to ratify the African Disability Protocol and also review the Persons With Disabilities Act, 2006.
This is to ensure the rights of People With Disabilities are respected.
Speaking at the conference on Equal World Campaign, the Global Advocacy Advisor of Sightsavers, Gertrude Fefoame, said discrimination against Persons with Disability must reduce.
She called on government to adopt an employment policy which will include Persons With Disabilities.
