Topping trends on social media for the past 24 hours has been the #FixTheCountry especially on Twitter.
With over 240,000 tweets so far made, most of the sentiments shared referred to challenges with rising youth unemployment, dilapidated health system, skyrocketing home-renting structure, poor road networks coupled with erratic power and water supply in some communities.
An online petition has also been launched to aid this cause with nearly 2,000 signatures so far.
This follows an increase in fuel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices, as well as water shortages and power cuts in some parts of the country.
