Management of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), has expressed its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the outgoing board members of the Corporation.

At a ceremony in Accra to honour them, the Director General of GBC, Professor Amin Alhassan, intimated that the expertise, experience, and insights of the outgoing board members contributed immensely to promoting the image of GBC.

They were presented with custom-made GBC branded souvenirs, TV flat screens, and plaque accompanied citations each.

The outgoing board members are Prof. Kwaku Tanoh-Debrah, Mr. Thomas Broni, Mr. Peter Djarkwah, Mrs. Ama Serwaa Nerquaye-Tetteh, Dr. Kwame Nyamekye, Mr. Samuel Intsiaba, Mr. Yaw Afriyie Nketiah, and Mrs. Efua Ghartey, with Prof. Samuel Debrah as the Chairman.
They came with a wealth of experience and expertise from diverse backgrounds to promote the GBC brand.

The chairman of the outgoing board, Prof Samuel Debrah lauded the openness, sincerity and professionalism of the Director–General, Prof Amin Alhassan.

Chairman of the National Media Commission, Mr. Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafo, commended management for paying the much-awaited, almost-long service awards to retirees and also congratulated the outgoing board members.

The Director General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Prof. Amin Alhassan, applauded the outgoing board members for their invaluable ideas and guidance, which have made a monumental positive impact on GBC.

Prof. Amin Alhassan thanked Electroland for supporting the corporation with 10 units of 65”4k flat screens that were part of the presentations made to appreciate the outgoing board members.

Citations were read for each of the outgoing board members. Custom-made GBC Branded souvenirs were also presented to them for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to making GBC what it is today.
