Uniiq FM, the flagship station of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, has officially rebranded as Radio Ghana 95.7.

According to management, the rebranding is part of a strategic initiative to reposition the station, attract new audience segments, and strengthen engagement with its loyal listenership.

Radio Ghana 95.7 MHz will unveil its revamped programming lineup starting Monday, December 1, 2025, featuring a dynamic new morning show.

Radio Ghana is designed to address issues that impact the daily lives of Ghanaians. The new morning show will deliver accurate information, offer balanced perspectives, and incorporate an educational touch aimed at fostering constructive national discourse.

Commenting on the rebranding, the Director-General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Prof. Amin Alhassan, described the transformation as a new chapter in public service broadcasting, reinforcing GBC’s commitment to relevance, inclusivity, and national development.

“95.7 is being recast as Radio Ghana, the original name in broadcasting in Ghana. We are doing this purposely to reposition 95.7 as a national and a global platform. Nationally, we shall ensure that across the country, through our sister stations and regional networks, GBC’s Radio Ghana will be available across the country. And on digital platforms, we shall ensure that it has a global reach through a visualised studio production. 95.7, otherwise called Radio Ghana, will be the true voice of the nation across the world, across the country, and across Accra.”
