The Ministry of Information says GJA’s statement criticizing the Ministry’s own statement on the attack on UTV by some NPP thugs on Saturday night, failed to grasp the context in which the Ministry issued its statement.
According to the sector minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the GJA did not get a proper understanding of what the Ministry put out, resulting in the GJA lashing out at the Ministry.
He said it is unfair for the GJA to describe the Ministry’s statement as ‘wobbling’ since government’s condemnation of the invasion was definite.
