The Greater Accra Regional Hospital has marked the 5th Anniversary of its re-designation.
The hospital used to be called Ridge Hospital.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Health, Mahama Asei Seini, tasked staff of the facility to ensure the proper use of ICT, especially during this COVID era and be diligent in their work, to achieve positive health outcomes.
He said Government’s massive recruitment of Nurses and the establishment of hospitals are all geared towards strengthening the health sector to make it accessible to all Ghanaians.
The Deputy-Minister lauded the staff for working hard to get the hospital upgraded to tertiary status.
