When the last tree dies, the last man dies is an adage that emphasizes the importance of trees to human life.

Trees are as important to humans as the air we breathe. However, activities such as deforestation have contributed largely to the loss of the forest cover globally.

It is to check the trend and encourage people to plant trees in their environment that the Greening Ghana project was initiated in June this year.

The campaign led by the ministry of lands and natural resources aimed to plant over 5 million trees nationwide.

Six months down the line, we ask, how are the tree seedlings you planted faring?
