The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo), has attributed yesterday’s Sunday, March 3, 2024 disruption in electricity supply to some customers in the western part of Accra, Winneba and Takoradi to a fault on an equipment at the Mallam substation.
In a statement, GRIDCo said its engineers quickly isolated the faulty equipment and power supply was restored to most of the affected customers.
The statement signed by the Corporate Communications Manager of GRIDCo, Dzifa Bampoh said for areas without power supply, engineers are working tirelessly to restore power once the faulted equipment
is fixed.
GRIDCo apologises to all who were affected by the power supply interruption.
