The Inspector General of Police (IGP), George Akuffo Dampare has appeared before the Parliamentary Ad-hoc Committee probing the purported IGP leaked tape, where he stated that the Police Administration is not a sole proprietorship.
“It’s not Dampare, but the Police Administration is not a sole proprietorship, but an institution with governance and with management structure”, he added.
Appearing before the Committee on September 12, 2023, IGP Dampare disclosed that his administration is not the worst because he thinks COP Alex Mensah wanted to say he is the best but he missed it and records are there for all to see.
He further added that everyone has their opinion and can express it in any form or shape but it never changes the facts.
