The Chairman of Parliament Adhoc Committee probing the Leaked audio tape, Samuel Atta Akyea, has cast doubts on the genuineness of the viral leaked tape on IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare.
He said the tape which has been circulating on social media, is a shorter version of a second tape tendered into the Committee.
He confirmed that the second tape was also provided by the former Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP, Daniel Bugri Naabu.
Mr. Akyea made these known when he addressed the media in Accra, after having an in-camera meeting with the Minister for National Security, Albert Kan Dapaah and other key witnesses.
He said the Committee will take a brief recess until the second of October 2023.
