Joseph Kobina Ade Coker, a former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has died.
Sources within the party confirmed that Mr Coker passed away on Saturday, 31 May, at the Bank Hospital in Accra following a short illness.
He served as the NDC’s Greater Accra Regional Chairman from 2009 until 2022, when he was succeeded by Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore after a contested re-election.
Mr Coker was also a former Vice Chairman of the Ghana Football Association, playing a significant role in the country’s sports administration.
