The Church of Pentecost has received a major infrastructural boost with the donation of an ultra-modern worship centre at Trassacco in Accra by the Jospong Group of Companies, led by its Executive Chairman, Elder Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, and his wife, Dr. Mrs. Adelaide Siaw Agyepong.
The facility, officially dedicated as the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC)–Trassacco, will serve both the PIWC and E-Church congregations of the Church of Pentecost. As part of the donation, the Jospong Group also presented a fully furnished mission house for the Resident Minister.

Speaking at the dedication ceremony, Elder Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong explained that the donation reflects the company’s long-standing culture of gratitude to God. He noted that what began as a small daily devotion among staff in 1995 has evolved into a strong corporate spiritual tradition, culminating in the construction of the worship centre.
The state-of-the-art complex features a 2,500-seater main auditorium, a children’s auditorium, a digital library, an in-church studio and modern administrative offices. It is equipped with two elevators, a 1,000 kVA transformer, backup power generators, central air-conditioning, and advanced fire safety and CCTV systems.

Receiving the facility on behalf of the Church of Pentecost, the Chairman, Apostle Dr. Eric Nyamekye, expressed profound appreciation to the donors for the gesture. He emphasised that although the building had been dedicated to God, the true holiness of God’s house lies in the lives of believers, adding that the ultimate measure of the church is the presence of God among His people.

The dedication and presentation ceremony was attended by several high-profile dignitaries, including the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah; the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Bernard Ahiafor; Members of Parliament; traditional authorities; and leaders, clergy and members of the Church of Pentecost. Management and staff of the Jospong Group of Companies were also present to witness the occasion.
