For residents of Kpokorpe, a village near Mafi Kumasi in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region, their worst fear is to see the clouds gather, because whenever it rains, the entire community gets flooded. This, they say, is because a stream from Adaklu flows through the village and is the cause of flooding with the least rain. Our Citizen Journalist for today, Prophet Kudzu John free, shares this harrowing video of residents who are farmers, having to wade through knee-deep to waist length floodwaters to their farms.
