President John Mahama is marking one year in office today, January 7, with a non-denominational thanksgiving service at the forecourt of Jubilee House in Accra.
The event, scheduled for 8:00 a.m., is expected to bring together religious leaders, senior government officials, members of the diplomatic community and other invited guests to reflect on the administration’s first year in power.
Held under the theme “Resetting. Rebuilding. Renewing.”, the service seeks to give thanks for the nation’s stability over the past year while reaffirming the government’s commitment to national renewal and inclusive governance.
The thanksgiving ceremony forms part of activities commemorating President Mahama’s first anniversary in office and underscores a period of reflection, unity and renewed dedication as the administration begins its second year.
