The Ghana Police Service has arrested David Kwodow Prah Afful, known on social media as Kwame Nkrumah II, for allegedly making violent threats during a TikTok livestream.
According to a police statement, officers arrested Mr Afful at a location near Kasoa Market at about 2:20 p.m. on Saturday.
In the livestream, he is said to have threatened to harm government officials, journalists, and civil servants while referencing the use of official green number plates. He also allegedly spoke of plans to burn markets and encouraged others to carry out similar actions.

The police emphasised that while freedom of speech is protected, incitement to violence and actions that threaten public safety will not be tolerated.
Mr Afful is being held in custody and is expected to face charges connected to threats against state officials and incitement of violence.
The Ghana Police Service reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the public and urged citizens to share credible information to assist ongoing investigations.
