The National Lottery Authority (NLA), in partnership with Genius Loci and Caritas, has launched the third edition of the Luckiest Lottery. The launch took place on 20th August 2025 at the NLA headquarters in Accra.
This year’s grand prize offers up to GHS 2.5 million for the Luckiest Ticket winner in December 2025, alongside daily, weekly, and monthly giveaways of smartphones, televisions, and other electronic gadgets. Ticket prices range from GHS 1 to GHS 5,000, making the platform accessible to both everyday Ghanaians and premium players.
At the launch, organisers demonstrated how to participate using the USSD short code *712#, while guiding attendees through the different play options. Media representatives, NLA staff, and volunteers present also had the chance to play, with some walking away as lucky winners of smartphones, power banks, and a Samsung LED Smart TV.

The Luckiest Lottery operates on the Caritas Lottery Platform, where revenues are channelled into the NLA’s Good Causes Foundation to support projects in health, education, and sports. According to NLA’s Director of Marketing, Events and Caritas, Kwabena Opoku Boakye, the initiative ensures “every ticket purchased contributes directly to national development, unlike illegal operators who pocket all proceeds”.

Genius Loci CEO, Dennis Adutwum, highlighted that the lottery is designed for inclusivity and offers multiple categories of winnings and ensures “everyone, from traders to corporate players, can participate and benefit.”
