The Ministry of Finance has described as untrue, a statement making the rounds that it had dropped GH₵ 241,933.00 for E-Levy Transaction for E-Levy Services, in the 2022 Budget, that it would not appear in the Appropriations Bill.

A statement issued by the Public Relations Unit of the Finance Ministry said it is also false that a Private Company had been contracted to collect E-Levy.

It explained that the Ghana Revenue Authority, GRA is the State Agency mandated to collect Service Fees.
