The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS), will today meet the Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to discuss reasons for the drastic disciplinary measures taken against some students for acts of indiscipline and crime.
Speaking to GBC News, the President of NUGS, Boakye Yiadom said although some of the deviant students deserve the punishment meted out to them, that of Rexford Joseph Bonney is unfair.
Rexford has been rusticated for his involvement in unauthorized installation of another student as Odikro of Unity Hall.
Mr Yiadom urged beneficiaries whose student loans have delayed to be patient as the Student Loans Trust is working to resolve the issue.
