Armed robbers yesterday, attacked sand winners at Gomoa Manso, a suburb of Agona Swedru.
Police upon arrival at the scene found a man, aged about 26 dead with a deep gunshot wound on his right chin, behind the steering wheel of the pay-loader.
Deputy Public Relations Officer at the Agona Swedru Police Station, Sergeant Isaac Evans Ettie said the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Swedru Municipal Hospital Mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
Adding that investigation is underway.
