Parliament’s Defence Committee to investigate Wa military brutality

The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Joseph Osei-Owusu, has directed the Committee on Defence and Interior to visit Wa and investigate the Military brutalities there and report to the House within four weeks.

The First Deputy Speaker’s directive followed a call by the Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, who raised concerns about the reported attack on civilians in Wa on Thursday.
