The Police have arrested one individual following a disturbance involving supporters of the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress on Sunday in Mamobi, a suburb of Accra.
A police statement indicated that efforts are ongoing to apprehend all identified perpetrators, and investigations into the incidents are still ongoing.
What is believed to have started as a routine weekend political campaign walk in Mamobi turned violent according to reports, resulting in two people being shot and four others sustaining injuries.
