The Police Service says it has introduced stringent measures to provide adequate security to Ghanaians across the country for the Easter celebrations.

A statement signed by the Director-General of Public Affairs, DCOP Kwesi Ofori said ”all Commands with the support of the National Operations, the MTTD, and the Intelligence Directorate are working to ensure that all persons who travel for the celebrations do so in safety”.

It says it will also ensure that all events organized in various parts of the country are ”secured and incident-free”.

The statement notes that additional security arrangements have been made for the annual Kwahu Easter Celebrations.
