Some residents of Weija, Tetegu, Adakope and their environs, who have been affected by the Weija dam spillage say, they are used to the flooding associated with it so will manage any inconvenience caused by the ongoing spillage.
Speaking to GBC NEWS, they conceded that they have erred in settling in the catchment area but that notwithstanding, they are appealing to the authorities to help better their plight.
They called for regular dredging of the lagoon so that when water gets spilled, it can have a proper right of way into the sea and forestall any flooding situation.
