The Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry has bid farewell to the 2024/2025 batch of National Service Personnel after a year of service.

At an interactive session held on Friday, August 29, 2025, the Chief Director of the Ministry, Mr. Noah Tumfo, together with other directors, commended the personnel for their dedication and contributions.

Mr. Tumfo urged them to remain focused as they transition into the world of work, noting that although the Ministry currently has no vacancies to absorb them, ongoing efforts in expanding industrialization would create opportunities in the future.

“You learn more when you teach more,” he said, encouraging the personnel to be proactive, resilient, and open-minded in the face of challenges.

Other directors also shared personal experiences, recounting the period of waiting and perseverance they endured after national service before securing employment. They encouraged the personnel to use such times to gain experience, build skills, and prepare for opportunities.

The service personnel, in turn, expressed appreciation for the exposure and mentorship they received during their time at the Ministry. They praised department heads who involved them in key office tasks and decision-making processes, describing the experience as valuable preparation for the job market.

They also suggested the intensification of monthly review meetings to assess progress and promptly address concerns for the benefit of future batches.

The engagement ended with words of encouragement from the directors, who emphasized resilience and perseverance as essential tools for navigating the next chapter of their careers.
