Trasacco Development Company has assured customers and investors that their investments and properties are secure, following recent unlawful demolitions that targeted sections of its Tema Springs serviced plots project.

At a press conference in Accra, management confirmed that the Ghana Police Service has identified suspects behind the demolitions, issued invitations for questioning, and is pursuing others who have fled the jurisdiction. The company pledged full cooperation with the authorities to ensure justice.

“We condemn this criminality in the strongest terms and are cooperating fully with the authorities to ensure justice is served,” said Kwame Owusu Danso, Esq., General Manager, Corporate Affairs and Legal Director of Trasacco Group.

Management also addressed misinformation surrounding the incident, revealing that the Office of the National Chief Imam confirmed that no authorization was ever given for the use of His Eminence’s name in connection with the dispute. Trasacco further disclosed that it has contacted the Presidency to clarify allegations of military involvement and is awaiting an official response after publicly distancing itself from the matter.

The company emphasized that it lawfully acquired the 270.1-acre land for the Tema Springs project from the Tema Development Corporation (TDC) in 2004, with the transaction formalized in a lease dated November 29, 2012. For over a decade, the land has been developed peacefully for clients, with uninterrupted access to essential facilities, including schools.

Trasacco reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the interests of its stakeholders and delivering quality serviced plots, while urging calm and confidence in the rule of law as authorities work to resolve the matter.
