The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into a viral TikTok video in which an individual is heard threatening the lives of President John Dramani Mahama and the First Lady, Lordina Mahama.
According to a statement posted on the Police Service’s X page on Tuesday, August 12, two suspects, Prince Ofori and Yayra Abiwu, are in custody assisting with the investigation.
Police say efforts are underway to locate other individuals believed to be connected to the video to aid in the ongoing probe.
