The under-bridge tunnel between the Tema Community 18 and Borteyman will be closed for works this weekend. The bolts and nuts which support the tunnel have been removed by some unscrupulous people.
Engineers who visited the tunnel said work is expected to start on Saturday and be completed on Sunday.
This is the state of the under-bridge tunnel which links Tema Community 18 and Borteyman. The tunnel was constructed during the construction of the Tema Motorway.
Unfortunately, the bolts and nuts have been stolen. To avert any casualty, to road users, the Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways, Mr. Stephen Pambiin Jalulah and some engineers visited the site to ascertain the situation.
Mr. Stephen Pambiin Jalulah was worried about the indiscipline by some Ghanaians.
The deputy minister entreated all to protect public properties.
