The Daily Graphic commends religious leaders and political parties for showing leadership in the face of the outbreak of COVID-19. It says leaders in politics and religion have all rallied behind government in dealing with the global pandemic. The Graphic encourages all stakeholders to think and act GHANA FIRST before any other considerations. The paper points out that if oneness had been paramount since independence, Ghana will have been ranked among developed countries.

The Ghanaian Times calls for calm as uncertainty clouds the coronavirus pandemic. It says as countries and cities go on shut down, the panic button has been triggered in the country following the increasing number of cases in Ghana. The paper reiterates the assurance from health experts that observing basic hygiene practices and self-isolation among others will go a long way to keep people safe from COVID-19.
