Jesus Connection Prayer Ministries International, in collaboration with Albee’s Ministry, has held a Thanksgiving concert to give thanks to the Lord for His goodness throughout the year.
The concert, dubbed Mega Thanksgiving 2022, was held on Sunday, December 25, at Ablekuma in Accra.
Speaking at the event, Gospel musician Alberta Oppong, who is popularly known as Albee, said the event was a way of making Christians reflect on the goodness of God.
“God has done a lot for us and watched over us. In Ghana, many have died as a result of COVID-19, but the lovingkindness of God has kept us all alive. It’s all about Thanksgiving.”
Albee advised budding musicians to learn from pacesetters.
“Anyone who wants to be a minister should exercise restraint. God will see them through, and they will come out at the right time. Let’s be humble and show love to ace musicians and those others who have laboured so that they can help you and pass on lessons to you.
She stated that Christmas was a solemn occasion imbued with high spirituality, love, goodwill, blessing, piety, and hope for mankind.
“We should all take good care of ourselves during the Christmas holidays. Let’s be generous to one another.”
She also expressed her gratitude to the sponsors and donors who helped make the event successful.
