The Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) will from Tuesday, December 10 close the Ankrofu Bridge on the Sokode-Bame Road in the Volta Region to Vehicular Traffic.
This is to enable the Bridge Maintenance Unit of the GHA to undertake an emergency reinforcement work on the nearly collapsed bridge over River Tsawoe between Akrofu Agorve and Akrofu Xeviwofe.
A statement issued by the Ghana Highway Authority, advices motorists to use the alternative routes on the Anyirawase-Bame and Ho -Dzolokpulta-Bame roads.
