We are not rivals- Asantehene on visit to Ga Mantse

The Ga Mantse, Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, held a durbar in honour of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The event featured a variety of cultural displays as part of the historic visit of the Asantehene to the Ga state.

In his address at the Ga Mantse Palace, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, pledged to donate five hundred Ghana cedis to support the education fund aimed at assisting needy children in the Ga community.

He emphasized that his visit was part of efforts to unite the Ga and Asante people and to dispel the perceived rivalry between the two tribes.

The Ga Mantse, Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, expressed his gratitude to the Asantehene for his support.

He also called on the public to maintain peace and harmony before, during, and after the upcoming elections.
