The Bank of Ghana has launched the Ghana Gold Coin. This will enable prospective investors who would want to venture in other forms of financial assets to do so through this means.
Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Ernest Addison who announced this during the MPC conference in Accra said the coin will be available in two weeks.
He said the prices of the coin which is in various units will be published on the Bank of Ghana’s website.
Dr. Addison said this initiative will among things help mop up excess liquidity from the system.
