2025 budget is blueprint for growth and stability – Finance Minister

Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, says the 2025 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government of Ghana is a foundation upon which Ghana will build a more resilient and equitable society.

Presenting the 2025 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government of Ghana on the floor of Parliament on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, the Finance Minister explained that the first budget presented on behalf of the president, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, is not just about numbers but rather a blueprint for growth, stability, and opportunity.

According to him, with unity and determination on the part of all, the government can restore faith in the country’s economy, foster innovation, and uplift every Ghanaian.

“Mr. Speaker, on behalf of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, I invite this august House to join hands as we work to build the Ghana we want together,” he reiterated.
