General Secretary of the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union (ICU), Solomon Kotei, says government is progressing steadily with its campaign promises although there is still a lot to be done.
He said the ICU cannot judge the merit of the government since it has not fully completed its four-year term.
He was speaking to Journalists at Asutsuare in the Greater Accra Region at the inauguration of the Professional and Managerial Staff Union (PMSU), at Golden Exotics, exporters of banana.
Mr. Kotei, while commending the Company for its contribution towards employment,  urged government to help exporters to stay in business since it increases the Country’s Gross Domestic Product.
Mr. Kotei, commented on the government’s One-District-One-Factory initiative, saying the ICU believes it is a long term plan which will take some time to come into realization.

The New PMSU Chairman, Fred Kumah, expressed appreciation to the Senior Staff for the confidence reposed in him.
