The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) says interventions government is considering to stabilise the Cedi against the dollar has come too late.
CEO of the Association Seth Twum Akwaboah said the problem has always been the import of goods which puts pressure on the cedi.
He said pumping enough dollars into the economy is a long term measure which is not appropriate to arrest the situation in the short term.
Mr. Akwaboah said this on news and current affairs programme “Behind the News” on Uniiq FM.
