A taskforce from the Debt Management and Compliance Unit of the Ghana Revenue Authority, GRA, has closed down Pasico Ghana Limited, for failing to comply with its tax obligations to the state.
The company which deals in the production of louvre blades and security drills, hiring and selling of lifting equipment has failed to pay taxes of GH¢4,852,267.
The money consists of Pay As You Earn (PAYE) and Value Added Tax (VAT).
Briefing the media after the exercise, a Principal Revenue Officer with the Unit, Nathaniel Tetteh said the Company can either come to their offices to rectify the anomaly or risk having the property auctioned.
