The Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA) has appealed to President Akufo-Addo to as a matter of urgency suspend the 11% increase in port tariffs by Meridian Port Services.
The tariff increment, according to GUTA is on the high side and therefore called for a halt to its implementation to pave the way for wider consultation.
The President of GUTA, Dr. Joseph Obeng made the appeal when the Association met President Akufo-Addo on day-two of his Greater Accra regional tour.
