Mobile Money Agents are kicking against an increase in cash-out services effective, Thursday, July 1.

Government ordered the Telecommunication Companies to deduct a 10 percent extra tax from Cash-out Service Wallets, starting tomorrow.

Per the current directive, MoMo Agents are expected to pay 20 percent tax at the end of each month.

Although their Association urged customers to comply with the increase in charges.

Some agents GBC News spoke to said the 10 percent is too much and will force them out of business as currently, the venture is not lucrative.
