Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has officially launched the National Retail Outlet Fuel Monitoring System which seeks to eliminate illicit distribution of Petroleum products in the downstream sector.
Spearheaded by the National Petroleum Authority, the system will enable stakeholders including the NPA, Ghana Revenue Authority and Oil Marketing Companies to monitor the inflow and outflow of Petroleum products.
Vice President Bawumia commended the NPA for the initiative, adding that the system will not only ensure enhance efficiency, but help block revenue leakage.
