Governance and security analyst Dr. Palgrave Boakye-Danquah has issued a strong public statement addressing growing concerns over claims by Ebo Noah, who alleges that God has revealed a global flood beginning on December 25, 2025. According to Mr. Noah, construction is underway for up to 10 arks intended to save followers from the impending disaster.

In a message directed particularly at the Christian community, Dr. Boakye-Danquah cautioned the public to approach these claims with discernment and scriptural understanding.

He reminded Christians that the Bible clearly states in Matthew 24:36 that no one knows the exact day or hour of the end times. He encouraged believers to remain grounded in prayer, the Word, and spiritual counsel rather than sensational predictions.

“This has serious national security implications”—Dr. Boakye-Danquah warns

Beyond theological concerns, Dr. Boakye-Danquah raised significant security red flags. He noted that apocalyptic predictions, especially when amplified online, can create panic, economic instability, and social disorder. He warned that vulnerable individuals could easily be manipulated, while mass gatherings around the ark sites could strain public order.

More critically, he highlighted the risk of terrorist exploitation. According to him, extremist groups often take advantage of chaotic situations, and large crowds preparing for an “end-times event” could present soft targets for attacks or recruitment.

He cited global precedents—from cult incidents to terrorism-related chaos—as evidence that such narratives can be hijacked to fuel violence or destabilisation.

Recommendations to Security Agencies

Dr. Boakye-Danquah outlined several steps he believes Ghana’s security services must take urgently:

  1. Enhanced Monitoring

He called for discreet surveillance of ark construction sites, gatherings, and online conversations related to the doomsday claims. Tools such as drone monitoring and cyber intelligence, he said, should be used to detect threats without breaching constitutional rights.

  1. Engagement With Religious Leaders

He recommended open dialogue between Christian leaders, interfaith groups, and Mr. Noah’s followers to prevent the situation from escalating into cult-like behaviour.

  1. Public Education Campaigns

He urged authorities to educate citizens on false prophecies, misinformation, and climate science to prevent fear-driven panic.

  1. Emergency Readiness

Security services, he said, should prepare for potential crowd surges, medical emergencies, or unrest, while strengthening cybersecurity measures.

  1. Regulatory Oversight

He advised that the ark projects be assessed for compliance with building codes and public safety laws, adding that any signs of fraud or coercion should trigger legal action.

Call for Calm and Unity

Dr. Boakye-Danquah concluded by urging Ghanaians to remain calm, vigilant, and united. “Our security lies not in arks of wood but in the eternal refuge of Jesus Christ,” he wrote, referencing Psalm 46:1. He encouraged citizens to avoid fear and uphold compassion, peace, and national cohesion.
