Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the MP for North Tongu, commissioned two smart classroom projects on December 26, 2025, to boost STEM education in his constituency, thanking Chinese Ambassador H.E. Tong Defa for the key partnership.
The facilities feature full internet connectivity, smart boards, solar panels, tablets, and tailored educational content. This initiative targets two senior high schools: BASEC and ABAST.
Ablakwa noted that partners supplied the STEM equipment and solar panels, while he funded the infrastructure upgrades.
The project emphasizes ongoing efforts to equip rural schools with cutting-edge tools, enhancing digital learning and renewable energy use.
