1,335 Candidates comprising 635 girls with 700 boys took part in the day one of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in five examination centers in the Ahafo Ano South West district of the Ashanti Region.
Speaking to journalists after an inspection tour of the five centres, the District Chief Executive for Ahafo Ano South West District, Joseph Frimpng Bonsu, expressed satisfaction about the confidence exhibited by the students and pledged the government’s commitment to promoting quality education.
The Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party for Ahafo Ano South West Constituency, Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah, encouraged the students to give it their all.
