Executive Director of African Education Watch, Kofi Asare, has appealed to the government to introduce an intervention programme for rural schools that could not benefit from the virtual learning programmes that were rolled out by government.

He said it will be prudent that the less privileged students have extra learning hours to help them catch up with their colleagues in the urban areas.

Speaking in an interview with Radio Ghana Mr. Asare called on the government and all stakeholders in education to come on board to help bridge the gap.
