The Kumasi Metropolitan Chief Executive, Mr. Sam Pyne has visited some examination centres to monitor the just started core papers of the WASSCE.
The written papers began on August 29, 2022 at all the designated exam centres across the country.
The conduct of the Ghana only WASSCE which is currently ongoing, enters it’s fifth week with the conduct of two core papers, Social Studies which was administered on Monday 5th of this month and English Language to be administered on Thursday 8th September.
Among the centres visited by the Kumasi Metropolitan Chief Executive, Mr. Sam Pyne were Saint Hubert Seminary SHS, Islamic SHS, Asanteman SHS and Serwaa Nyarko SHS.

Mr. Pyne cautioned the students to desist from vandalizing school property.
The Kumasi Metro Director of Education, Mr. David Oppong, who accompanied the Metropolitan Chief Executive, admonished teachers not to encourage exam malpractices as the Ghana Education Service and West Africa Examinations Council are collaborating to ensure that persons found culpable are dealt with in accordance with the law.
