Climate change and green economy will feature in the new school curricula at the basic level which starts in September this year (2019).

This will enable the pupils to understand the threats of climate change to the environment, health of citizens and the economy.

The Environmental Protection Agency, Ghana Education Service and other stakeholders are developing teaching and learning materials on climate change for primary school syllabus.
