2024 School placement released; Over 447,000 students automatically placed

The Ministry of Education has released the 2024/25 placement results for Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutions.

Out of the 563,339 results received from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), 553,155 candidates qualified for placement, with 447,698 (80.93%) automatically placed in one of their chosen schools.

However, 104,918 qualified candidates were not matched to any of their preferred schools.

Students who were not automatically placed are encouraged to visit the self-placement platform to select a school of their choice.

To access their placement results, qualified students can visit the official CSSPS website at https://www.cssps.gov.gh or https://www.cssps.org, enter their ten-digit index number followed by the year of completion (e.g., 123456789024), and click the “Submit” button to view their placement result 

For concerns or assistance, the public can contact the National Solution Centre at the GNAT Hall, Adabraka, Accra, or visit any of the 16 Regional Solution Centres. Additionally, a helpline is available at 0308258001.

    BSc. Geological Engineering / Geology / Earth Science or Geosciences

    BSc. Human Resource Management

    BSc. Environment and Safety Engineering / Natural Resources

    BSc. Accounting / B’ Com

    BSc. Human Settlement / Geography & Rural Development / Land Economy / Agricultural

    Eligibility

    Applicants must be Ghanaian with a degree qualification in relation to the above disciplines from a recognized institution

    Applicants must have completed one (1) year of mandatory National Service at the time of application

    Must be familiar with mining industry operations

    Knowledge in MS Office applications.

    Effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

    Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented setting

    Should have the capacity, with high intellectual, analytical and creative ability to learn quickly, identify issues and propose solutions

    Must possess very strong human relations skills and ability to interact with people of diverse culture and value

    Medical fitness for the position and environment
