Students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, are protesting over a new directive by the school’s management, to defer their courses to next academic year, for paying their fees late.

The students have also locked up the Ringway Campus of the school.

The students say, this directive by management is insensitive, especially when the defaulting students were made to pay a penalty fee of 200 cedis for paying their fees late.

Meanwhile, the school entrance is under guard by the Police and the Schools security.
